Chambord Fashion Week Sweepstakes Official Rules 1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older and a legal resident of the United States to enter. Sweepstakes void in California and Tennessee, and wherever prohibited or restricted by law. 2. How to enter: You are automatically entered when you complete and transmit the on-screen entry form at www.Chambordonline.com/fashion, including your name, address, email address and date of birth, before midnight EST of December 15, 2008. 3. No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be eligible, nor will your entry be eligible if it is lost, late, illegible, misaddressed or otherwise misdirected. Electronic entries that are misdirected, illegible, or not received due to technical malfunction will not be eligible. Limit one entry per person and one entry per e-mail address. Sweepstakes begins September 1, 2008. All entries must be received by December 15, 2008, when the sweepstakes ends. 4. Eligibility: Employees of Brown-Forman, its affiliates, liquor wholesale licensees, retailers, as well as advertising/promotion agencies and their immediate family members and household members of each are not eligible. This promotion is void wherever prohibited, taxed or restricted by law. In the event that the sweepstakes is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority, Sponsor or Administrator reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Sweepstakes, or to disqualify participants residing in the affected geographic areas. In such event Sponsor and Administrator shall have no liability to any entrants who are disqualified due to such an action. You must be at least 21 years of age to be eligible. GRAND PRIZE: One (1) GRAND PRIZE will be awarded: A trip for two (2) to New York, New York on February 13, 2009. Trip includes round trip coach class airfare tickets for two from the commercial airport closest to winner’s home to New York; 4 days, 3 night stay at a New York hotel (standard room/double occupancy, hotel selected by sponsor); two invitations to attend one runway show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Show week, $500 spending money and $1000 shopping money. Total prize value is $4,900. If winner cannot travel on the dates indicated then he/she may forfeit the prize and an alternate winner may be submitted. Limit one prize per entrant. 6. DRAWING: Winner will be selected in a random drawing from all timely received eligible entries. The drawing will be held on or about December 29, 2008; and will be conducted by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. Odds of winning a prize depends upon the number of eligible entries received pursuant to this Sweepstakes offer. Unclaimed prize will not be awarded. 7. All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Taxes and registration on the GRAND PRIZE are the responsibility of the GRAND PRIZE winner. No substitution or transfer of prizes permitted without Sponsor’s permission or where required by law. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value. All federal, state, and local laws apply. If the prize becomes unavailable Brown-Forman may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. 8. PARTICIPATION: Participants agree that by submitting their entry they release the Sponsor from any liability in connection with their computer equipment/software. The Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any material in this promotion. 9. CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASES: On or about January 5, 2009 winner will be notified either by mail, email or by phone and will be instructed how to claim the prize. GRAND PRIZE winner be required to claim his or her prize within 5 days of notification by signing before a notary and returning to the address stated in the notification an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. Winner's guest must be at least 21 years of age and also complete a similar affidavit and release form. If the winner's notarized Affidavit and Release is not returned within 5 days of notification, the GRAND PRIZE winner will have waived any claim to the prize. By accepting a prize, any winner: (a) releases Brown-Forman and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any/all liability claims, action or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in any promotion activity or connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman /Chambord for promotional purposes in connection with this promotion, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation where permitted. The Sponsor and participating promotional companies are not in any way liable for damage, loss or injury resulting from computer malfunctions, misdirected or incomplete entries or acceptance and use of the prize. Brown-Forman/Chambord reserves the right in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes. The Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel terminate or suspend the sweepstakes. The Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the game is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such attempt. 10.
